The stoplight at Chamblee-Dunwoody and Mt. Vernon needs to run longer for those going south on Chamblee-Dunwoody and the stoplight at the entrances to the shopping centers (at the old Burger King & new convenience store) seriously needs blocking out, as in “Don’t Block the Box”. Traffic going south mid afternoon is at such a volume that there is no room for a car to join the queue if they are leaving the shopping centers heading towards the intersection with Mt. Vernon because the light at Mt Vernon turned red way before the one at the shopping centers’ entrances turned green to allow drivers to exit and pull onto Chamblee-Dunwoody.
