Nothing has been done about this issue in the four months since it was submitted. There are currently four bricks holding up the storm drain concrete cover, others may have washed down the drain. There needs to be a more permanent solution. The person I spoke with, who inspected the problem agreed that a more permanent solution with permanently affixing the bricks to the storm drain cover and the ground was required. Nothing has been done in the three months since I spoke to that person. Please provide me (the original caller) an update.

I'm sorry Gooberman. We are currently addressing other concerns within Howard County. We will have someone out to address this ASAP.

Thank you Danny M. for the quick response. I just do not want to see a major rain storm come through and have the storm drain top cave in and then have two or more houses (including mine) get flood damage due to not taking preventative measures early enough. I will look forward to an update.

Repaired the inlet box with brick and mortar.
