We checked signal timing and detection systems. No issues was found. If a pedestrian signal was actuated (i.e., pedestrian crossing Old Milton Parkway), both the pedestrian signal and the light for drivers to leave 3rd street would stay white / green, until the pedestrian time is cleared.

The City of Alpharetta has resolved this request.

I've seen the same thing happen here before in the mornings, and there haven't been any pedestrians crossing the road in any direction. May want to check again, as this light staying red in the direction of east/west Old Milton holds up a lot of traffic from making its way through the next green light at Northwinds Pkwy, and subsequently, through the next green light to cross 400.
