Description
Today we were very disappointed to receive a notice that our newly paved road will be receiving “chip seal treatment.” This will essentially turn our brand new asphalt road that we’ve waited years for into a rough, bumpy and noisy STONE road. After researching, it is typically reserved for rural roads for these reasons, which ours are not. Bicycles also have a hard time riding on this type of street and there are many kids in our neighborhood. Not only is the noise from cars driving by much louder, but our lawn will be slowly compromised by stones coming off the street as we have no curbs. Yes this is the “cheaper” option for the city, but we pay our taxes to have nice high quality roads to live on. Can you please let us know what can be done about this? Thank you!
