City Hall – DR assigned this issue to Community Dev - JA (Traffic Calming)

I also live on this block and agree that a speed bump or two would be very helpful.

A speed bump on this street is critical- cars absolutely fly down the street and almost never stop at the stop sign on Fairfield. Please install a speed bump or two before someone gets hurt - especially a kid.

I live at the corner of Fairfield and Pemberton and regularly (once a day) find a driver traveling over speed limit down Pemberton after they round the bend. Anything to slow folks down and travel slower/safer.

Agreed a straight away that has people often traveling well over the 25 mph limit in close proximity to a school and multiple parks

Following up. There has been no activity here for several months. The issue still exists.

In general traffic calming infrastructure changes to streets are completed in conjunction with other roadwork such as paving and sidewalk reconstruction. At this time no roadway work is scheduled for Pemberton Street. We have added the street to the list of requests for traffic calming, and we will monitor traffic speeds and evaluate the potential for traffic calming measures when the street is scheduled for roadwork.
