Description

Requesting construction of a raised crosswalk at the midblock crossing on 400 block C Street NW. Street is low volume; vehicles rarely stop for pedestrians. Crosswalk also needs some adjacent parking removed & curb extensions to improve sight lines.

Finally submitting this after I had to quickly move to avoid getting struck by someone driving a DC Gov vehicle. If this is declined I am interested in understanding why this was declined in the context of Vision Zero efforts.
