Description

Requesting the removal of all vegetation taller than 4 feet from the NW corner of 60th and Island Crest. The trees between the trail and Island Crest create a serious visibility issue. Not only is it a problem for those trying to pull out on to Island Crest from 60th but more importantly visibility of pedestrians on the trail who run the risk of being hit by a turning car. I, myself, almost hit a young boy who happened to be walking behind the trees as I was approaching and didn't see him until I was turning and he was emerging from the trees. I had to move out of the way to avoid being rear ended by the car behind me. Some nice, short, vegetation would be lovely. On a side note, I saw that someone put in a request to remove the dead pine tree on that same corner, needless to say you could kill to birds with one stone. Thank you!
