The full length of Briars Farm lane is in terrible condition
The Carriage Hills Housing Development roads are in need of immediate repair. The "POTHOLES" have become extremely dangerous to motorized vehicles. Broken axles, tie-rods and springs are serious accidents waiting to happen. As folks attempt to enter and leave the development they are swirveing to avoid what looks like a "Mortar Attack" and they are having a difficult time paying attention to on coming traffic- especially on Briar Farm Road that is composed mostly of numerous curves in the road. It appears that a few residents on Briar Farm Road very close to Morgan Road have taken it upon themselves to purchase bags of asphalt (possibly at Lowes) to fill in the potholes that are located on the road in front of their driveways to avoid damage to their own vehicles. The various vendors, merchants that have reason to conduct business in the development are on full alert as they attempt to navigate their way through the area such as, the USPS, Fedex, UPS, Garbage Trucks, School Buses, etc.etc. A truckload of asphalt filler and an hours time of a county road worker would significantly provide a temporary fix. I look forward to seeing the potholes filled in the next week or so.
I have enclosed a few photos of the many potholes that require filling- see attached.
Sincerely, Robert T. Dempsey
