Shoreline east train has had equipment failures very frequently in the last month. Two complete breakdowns requiring passengers to transfer trains and delays in excess of 2 hours. No A/C. Multiple cars with extreme heat to the point of potential medical risks. Price increases with worse service. This is not a New Haven issue, Union station seems a geographical headquarters for trains in CT. Hope to rally customers to complain to the DOT regarding this poor service.
