Thank you for using FayFixit. The 96 gallon brown containers become your personal property after purchasing them from the city. For up to 10 years, the city will maintain the upkeep on the containers. After which, they are no longer under warranty. If the brown container is less than 10 years old, and damaged, they can be scheduled for repair. According to SR#226815, the technician arrived at your residence and discovered that the brown cart is no longer under warranty, therefore is unable to be repaired.

That all being said, how do I get a new cart?

Thank you for contacting us. The brown containers are available for purchase at $53. It can also be delivered for an additional fee of $11.50. The brown containers become your personal property after purchasing them from the city. For up to 10 years, the city will maintain the upkeep on those containers. After which, they are no longer under warranty. If your container is less than 10 years old and damaged, please feel free to schedule a repair.
