Description
This drain at Creekview Drive was reported about a month ago and the supervisor replied to this forum that it had been assigned. This particular is a picture taken this past Sunday the 9th while raining. I think this shows the clearing of the drainage inlet has not been cleared. Please help. Twenty six fifty six Creekview Dr. For some reason I cannot type in more than 2 numbers.

Hello, sorry for any confusion. The catch basin and pipe that discharge into the creek are both clean. The issue that arises in heavy rains is when the creek rises. The water line in the creek gets higher than the pipe discharge. This causes the water to back up in the catch basin at the street. I have been by and the watched this area in moderate to light rain with no issue being seen. In heavy rains it does back up but, it is usually short lived once the water has receded in the creek. Please feel free contact me directly with any questions or concerns. Jason.franklin@hooveralabama.gov or 205-444-7545.
Thank You,
Jason Franklin
