Description

Cars, Trucks, SUVs and city service vehicles including large vehicles illegally park between the legal parking areas and the crosswalk. This is a busy and narrow intersection and this is dangerous because it makes it harder to see bicyclists and pedestrians crossing either 2nd Street or G Street when vehicles block drivers views. Bollards are needed on both sides of G at the intersection and on the east side of 2nd Street to prevent this behavior. Often people park not just for a minute or two for passenger pickup but wait or park for extended periods of time while waiting for someone.
