Description
This is what we woke up to this morning after a rain storm. You can see how high the standing water reaches over my driveway and deposits the neighborhoods debris/ trash In front of my house. This is becoming a common occurrence and is unsanitary for the neighborhood kids. Please advise when the drainage system will be addressed. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to report an issue via Pinellas County “Doing Things for YOU!”. Pinellas County Public Works, Stormwater Operations Division has investigated the reported problem. The Field Coordinator determined the drainage system is working as designed. Due to the heavy rains we have been experiencing, the system is not capable of handling the heavy rain event causing the street flooding. However, the water does recede quickly after the rain slows or stops. The streets are swept on a regular cycle. Pinellas County “Doing Things for YOU!” will be closing this SeeClickFix.
