Description

There used to be a plaque commemorating Crispus Attucks at the base of the right side of the concrete structure in the picture. This is on Concord Street, roughly across the street from the Commonwealth Warehouse Park at 1451-1455, between the Pike underpass and School Street. A brook (which probably runs into Cochituate Brook) runs under the street at this point. I know the plaque was there around the year 2000. Later, it was covered up with dirt and leaves. I reported that once here on this site. Now it looks as though the plaque is gone altogether. I'm hoping that it was moved to a safer location.
