Many older residential subdivisions throughout the city were allowed to be built without implementing sidewalks. At this time there isn't a funded program to go back to retrofit new sidewalks in neighborhoods. Penny for Pinellas has a small annual funding allocation to complete missing sidewalk gaps on arterial and collector roadways, and small missing gaps in neighborhoods. Therefore, at this time we are not able to address your need to complete sidewalks for your area.
