Description
There is very little traffic regulation at the intersection of Boston Avenue and High Street, making it a very dangerous intersection. Drivers speed through the intersection from either direction, often times not yielding to pedestrians on the crosswalks. The right-hand turn from High Street to Boston avenue is particularly dangerous with how fast people take the turn.

I agree: It needs help.
Instead of squared-off "T" intersections, every street has, instead a wide "bellmouth" opening into this intersection that invites people in cars to take the turns "at speed" and also make for extremely long crossing distances on foot (Sagamore is practically 5 lanes wide, measured along High St, and the island is oddly placed, and doesn't have an ADA cut to accommodate wheelchairs/strollers).
People in cars on Boston coming west into High don't have a good "stop line" location and treat the rounding like it was a freeway slip lane not needing a Stop.
Similar forces are at work all over this intersection it feels more like a cloverleaf than a collection of T intersections.
My first suggestion: USE PAINT to make the asphalt look narrower (and the sidwalk wider) and see if it changes behavior any.
Also use paint to expand the size of the refuge islands in the median of Boston Ave and Sagamore here.
Add a sideline on High Street along Bennet Delta to make the road feel smaller and create something of a bike lane
