Description

At NB Rte 210 there is a left-turn signal onto Swann Creek Rd. AM rush is heavy with people waiting to turn left to either go up Livingston Rd toward the hospital or toward Metro Park n Ride. When SB 210 traffic gets stopped at the top of the hill at Ft. Washington Rd, why can't NB cars be allowed to turn left onto Swann Creek? The left arrow doesn't come on until the light finally changes at Ft. Washington Rd and by the time the cars get to the bottom of the hill at Swann Creek THEN the left turn signal comes on for NB left turning traffic. Changing the timing of the left turn signal would greatly improve NB flow, because so many cars wait to turn left onto Swann Creek that cars overflow into the left NB through travel lane, requiring cars to have to change lanes.
