Description

This Port-a-Pottie was apparently placed 3-4 days ago by the City to accommodate Beach goers over the July 4th holiday. Problem is that it is already being over used and smells when walking within 10-20 ft. I can't imagine what it will be like by the weekend. It certainly will not be used because of the smell. It needs to be changed and more added if the objective is to provide facilities for Chics.Beach over the holiday.

It was probably put there by the company for their crew putting in the new sewer covers.

Hope that is the case. Although, it wasn't there while they were working. It appears they finished last week. Hate to see port-a-potties around the neighborhood to provide facilities to beach goers.

I called the Spivey Service office at 485-8888 and they told me a road work organization (couldn't give me the name) were delivered a Spivey on Coronet and Fentress. The company must have moved it. No construction is evident on Fentress, Coronet or Lauderdale. Beach goers are using it and it may becoming unsanitary due to the length of time that it has been there.

A neighbor just told me she was driving on Lauderdale toward the corner of Fentress and Lauderdale and encountered cars blocking the intersection while people in cars were using the Spivey. Again this Port-a-Pottie is not being used by construction peple but beach goers that have no facilities on the beach. It stinks because of over-use and needs to temoved.
