I agree with Elissa - this town is unfortunate enough to have the most self centered and awful drivers driving through it. I live a block away and have literally stood on the corner of 4th trying to cross valley for upwards of 5 straight minutes in the pouring rain with a screaming injured child and no one would let me cross. The lights at 3rd and by the HS are timed so there's ALWAYS traffic coming one way or the other and those lights are so far apart, drivers get up to a good coasting speed in between which probably lessens their 1% likelihood of stopping for a pedestrian, as the law requires. A light at the corner of 5th would surely help. We have trouble getting to the park across Valley on a weekly basis too b/c of the traffic
