For clarification - "No Through Trucks" only applies to trucks that do not have business in the Town where the sign is posted. This is a State regulation which means that any truck with business within the borders of Hamden can drive anywhere in the Town. Speeding issues should be directed to the Hamden Police Department.

The sign that I was referring to just has a picture of a truck with a line through it. Is that the same thing as "No Through Trucks"?

The original poster gave no name and NO DETAILS of any kind. The poster literally just made a head line and moved on. This should never be allowed. The poster just wanted to drop a internet grenade and get out of town. The life Guard is now on the job.
