Yes, that is it Jake. There is one of those "Yield to Pedestrians in the Crosswalk" signs in the center of the road, but the white stripes are almost completely gone. It really is a gamble to hope cars will stop. Often traffic stops in one direction, but the traffic in the other direction just keeps going even if you are in the middle of the road. Just a question of time before someone else gets hit.

Please repaint these crosswalks as soon as possible. The intersection currently has a lot of pedestrian traffic with residents walking to Wilbur Cross, the tennis courts, IRIS, the park, and the Shell station. Pedestrian traffic will only increase at the end of August when East Rock school reopens.

Do we have a status on this? I just crossed there an hour ago and a car actually honked at me. Any response from the city?

Can we perhaps relocate the crosswalk sign from in front of Archie Moore's to Nicoll? The crosswalk in front of Archies is useless. With a light on either end of the block, that section of Willow is easily crossed if one can perhaps wait a moment or two for a car to pass.
The intersection at Nicoll is much busier and is genuinely dangerous.

Can we get a response from the city on this issue?
