City Administrator assigned this issue to Bob

I went to the city administration to address the storm drain issue. SD 1 explained that the city is responsible for clearing debris from this sewer drain. I've had City of Edgewood clear the drain last summer.

The reaction I got from the administration building was awful. The lady didn't want to talk to me and she began to argue with me. She wouldn't even look at the photo I brought (included in post). I've never been treated like that. I'm a property manager and I would never speak to my residents like the way she addressed my issue. She basically told me it wasn't their problem.

It was ridiculous. Sorry for the long post.

The City of Edgewood wants to thank you for submitting this issue. We reviewed this issue and are working on clearing the area. Most of the debris causing the backup came from residents; Fire wood that had been cut up, treated lumber, people using the drainage area to throw yard debris like cut bushes, leaves, grass clippings and treee limbs. One neighbor at first wouldn't allow the City passage to assist in getting the area cleaned out but eventually did. The City is going to bring larger equipment in to remove some of the larger pieces of tree limbs from the pipe. This would not be as serious if the neighbors would stop putting leaves, limbs, lumber, firewood and other items in the water way.
