July 17, 2019 - NHB inspected approx. 3 PM; saw one painting truck on North ave; on wood terrace one painting truck in driveway; as I was there - an unmarked van drove in - guys unloading junk (carpentry parts; business is being run.; spoke to "office manager)

owner & daughter came into Zoning; said they will no longer have vans, trucks, materials nor office for painting company there.
HAS REQUIRED MORE INSPECTIONS.

status update : 1999 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT - APPLIED TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND WAS HEARD ON NOVEMBER 25, 2019 & REC'D CONDITIONAL APPROVAL FOR A PAINTING BUSINESS TO BE RUN OUT OF THIS single family residence RESIDENCE; NHB - ZONING DEPT; Pls see Complaint folder in Zoning Enforcement and the P&Z Folder in the Zoning Department for further information.

this issue is now closed; there was one complaint post this P&Z Decision by a neighbor - of what appeared a Painting Truck turning around in the pentway behind 1999 North Avenue; this appeared to be a single incident - w no others occurring after that. Reportedly no neighbors objected at the Planning and Zoning Hearing - on this Application. NOTE : THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT WAS BY A COUNCILPERSON IN THIS DISTRICT.
