Description
I live at 635 Abbeywood Drive, Roswell GA 30075. I noticed Wednesday evening what appeared to be a water leak between my driveway and the street. The county came out Thursday to check on it. My meter was not running, and there was no evidence of a leak from the county pipes. Some water was taken back to the office to be tested, and we heard back that the test showed lower fluoride levels than the county water. They are telling me it is almost likely a natural spring and that I should contact the city of Roswell for further assistance. I am not sure who exactly to report this to, but am hoping you can be of assistance. If you can, please let me know what the next steps are to remedy this situation.
As of Tuesday, the water issue has gotten worse and it is curious to think this may all be caused by a natural spring. The issue is both on Bircham Way and in our driveway.
We need to figure out a solution before significant damage is done.
Thanks for the help!

This does not seem to be a spring. The source seems to be located near a fire hydrant and the customers water meter service (although no leak was showing on the meter). It could be leaking somewhere in the service tap or possibly at the hydrant. When field tested for chlorine, it showed positive.
The customer has been advised to contact Fulton County to recheck and possibly do a leak survey to rule out a service leak.
