I would like to draw your attention to a dangerous pedestrian crossing at Mystic Avenue South and McGrath Hwy in Somerville. The precise crossing is across Mystic Avenue starting from the location of Shop & Stop Grocery Store (779 McGrath Hwy, Somerville, MA 02145) towards Assembly Row. I have often done this crossing. The time for pedestrians to cross is just around 15 seconds, and it is fairly challenging to cross over safely. To make matters worse, the traffic barely slows down. I just read in the news that there was a fatal pedestrian accident at this crossing today:
