Description
It appears that someone had decided to install parking meters starting at 200 Sidney and going south. This was unannounced, and takes away spaces from residents and businesses in the area that heretofore were able to park on the street. Further, the food trucks on Erie Street around the corner have already usurped needed parking - which could be ameliorated if the food trucks were moved to Fort Washington.
Hopefully the installation of parking meters can be reconsidered and reversed. On an additional note, not sure why public works made this installation on a Saturday morning rather than normal work day. Also not sure why posts were not installed plumb. Finally, do not understand why affected property owners were not noticed and consulted regarding the parking change.
