I'll remain neutral on this particular issue (but yet still interested) since i'm sadly unfamiliar with all of the various relevant trade-offs. However, speaking in just a general sense... i am grateful for the fact Huntsville has a consistent track record of designing our public-works in a way which coexists with bikes, pedestrians, dog-walkers (and even the occasional golf cart, etc). Due to reasons like this, we residents can rightly ☺ boast about Huntsville toward outsiders.

The Divison is currently working on with the Bicycle Advisory Safety Committee ( BASC ) to get guidance on where signs such as the “ BIKES MAY USE FULL LANE” may be installed.
