The 800 Block of N Washington street is the Darkest street of all of Pottstown- why not learn from Phoenxville and put up street lights if the street was well lit would you commit a crime? I doubt it, unless you were insane, of course.

NOONE IS SAYING FOR THE POLICE TO STAND ON THE STREET GUARDING EVERY INDIVIDUAL CAR. HOWEVER, IN THE YEAR AND HALF I HAVE LIVED ON THIS STREET I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT IS NOT PATROLED THE WAY IT SHOULD BE, THE POLICE DRIVE ON PROSPECT AND WILSON BUT TEND TO IGNORE THE SIDE STREETS. ANOTHER WAY TO DETER CRIME FROM HAPPENING IS PUTTING UP SOME STREET LIGHTS, THIS IS POSSIBLY ONE OF THE DARKEST STREETS IN TOWN. I FULLY RESPECT AND APPRICIATE WHAT THE POLICE HAVE TO DO ON A DAILY BASIS, BUT PLEASE PAY JUST A BIT MORE ATTENTION TO THE SMALLER SIDE STREETS.

I live in the 900 block of Washington St and my car was egged a few weeks ago. It hasn't been the first time. I notified police. They are also breaking into vehicles on Terrace Lane!
