3 Issues:
1) The new bike lanes on Montgomery street is taking more space than it needs to, especially with the addition of the bollards/white partitions. It is very dangerous for the pedestrians crossing as cars need to make wide turns onto Montgomery Street.
2) The white lanes aren't painted accurately! A driveway is painted as a parking spot instead of crossed white lines causing cars to constantly block the dock.
3) See sign parking issues and parking app hour issues. Which is it?
3A) The signs on the light post says parking is from 8AM-5PM.
3B) The meters says 9AM-9PM.
3C) The parking mobile app uses 9AM-6PM
Please note, there is currently an emergency no parking sign effective July 19, 2019- Oct 18, 2019 from 7AM-4:30PM to further create confusion.

Parking issues: 3 Issues:
1) The purpose of the Montgomery St project was to enhance pedestrian, cyclist, transit rider and driver safety by establishing dedicated space for cyclists that is separated from motor vehicles. This project included establishing low-stress bike facility that will be comfortable to ride for new cyclists and prevent vehicles from blocking bike lanes. The buffer is to protect cyclists from potential dooring while passenger enter and exit vehicles in the parking lane. The parking protected bike lanes helped shorten the crossing distances for pedestrians and therefore, reduced the amount of time pedestrians are exposed to vehicular traffic within the intersections. The curb extensions at the intersections also reduce the speeds of turning vehicles.
2) The striping at the driveways have since been updated.
3) Can Parking Enforcement clarify the inconsistencies in the parking restriction times?
