RE Neuse River Trail Flooded at Mile Marker 4. The Water Dept is between 12 and 16 inches. The area covered is about 80 yards of trail with no alternate available. Water is also across 1/2 the width of the trail under US-1 underpass. Suggest you check with the corp of Engineers on how much they are releasing from Falls lake. Recommend that the two sites be marked caution with tape.

Not caused by the floodplain. Caused by a collection of water..not from overflow of the river. It happens even when the dam does not let any water down the river.
