Starting Tuesday 7/23 work crews have been working on 1201 12th St NE with no permits displayed. In this time crews have been operating a jackhammer to remove the concrete flooring and have been breaking out four 3 ft wide holes in the brick exterior of the building. They have discarded broken glass on the sidewalk along 12th St as well. The area is not secure and anyone could gain entry through one of the holes in the wall. The work is ongoing.
