NB on 108st at 84ave. With the construction the traffic light is much too short. Only about 10 cars or a couple semis make it through. Can the northbound light be extended during the construction?

Thank you for bringing forward your concern about the Northbound traffic at 84 Ave and 108 Street. We have increased the time allocation to the NB traffic in the system, the change will be effective tomorrow July 31, 2019. This will help with more Northbound vehicles clearing the intersection than before.
However, please consider that as NB left turn lane is under construction, driving speeds are 30 km/hr. So, you will not see vehicles driving at the same speeds as before construction and there will still be some delays due to constructions as the lanes are reduced and travel speeds are reduced. But, additional NB time will definitely help in more vehicles going through the intersection.
