Description
As noted above and in the attached photo, it is virtually impossible to use this court which has needed repair for almost 7 years. This year I feel that those in charge may need to be notified. Cambridge typically would not allow a park to remain in this state.
The court has a lot of dead spots so that balls do not bounce as they should and has tufts of grass growing through cracks that are about 10 ft long and approaching 6inches in width. So, not only is the court itself unusable at this point, but the net sags and makes it hard to use it if only just for practice as it no longer meets regulation height.
Please help! This court is well-loved and has been used often over the years.
Thanks,
Families of Cambridge Highlands

Hello, I noticed that this issue was assigned to the Department of Public Works in 2019, and wanted to resurface this.
The court is in terrible shape and has several large cracks, one of which I stumbled on today. It needs repair before someone is injured. I know this might not be the top of your priority list, but this area is getting increasing use as people move and stay outdoors during the pandemic. Nearby schools and childcare centers use this area in addition to neighborhood tennis and pickleball players. We have been asking for repair since 2019, please address this as soon as possible and provide an update in the interim.
Thank you!
