Our house is directly on Joy Rd, and in the easement, just before the culvert empties into a roadside ditch, there is a sink hole that's been growing in the grass the last year or two. When we first moved in (summer 2017) I thought it was some kind of animal hole, but after talking with some people, they suggested there might be a crack in the culvert that's causing the soil to give way. I contacted the City of Westland but they told me it was a Wayne County issue since Joy Rd is a county road.
