Thanks for the update on the water fountain, my pup will really appreciate it! Regarding the Seal Security- I think getting to the root cause of the issue and eliminating the opportunity makes more sense than me having to call Seal Security or HPD when I take my dog to the dog park. The electrical outlets and nook behind the stage seem to make it a popular hangout spot for individuals who appear under the influence. The fire station on Elgin is right across the street, maybe they could help next time an argument breaks out with the vagrants.

I believe there are officials, who purposefully, lead these transients to this area (from Almeda & Wheeler) in order to expand their "territory". They know that good, responsible people will leave; bringing in weak-minded (socially-minded) individuals for them to control.

Well, I appreciate that you can enunciate the “root cause” of folks sleeping in Glover Park, I’m sure your solution of [checks notes] calling the fire department will vindicate your theory.

I am simply noticing a trend where seemingly evident drug trade individuals walk from the picnic benches at Baldwin park to Glover park to charge their phones/devices and people come up to the decked area where drug trade is obvious. I take my dog to both parks and have just recognized this trend. I am not versed in what Seal Security can and cannot do and don't know what they would do if I called them to report suspicious/ rancorous behavior.

PS. A frequent female dog walker who feels threatened at the neighborhood dog park.

I get it. Using the phone numbers for the Constable above posted by msullivan will get a response and help HPD and the constables to build a map of areas to increasingly patrol. This is particularly important for the enforcement of drug sales in areas like Baldwin and Glover that may require an officer to exit her patrol car and review the area on foot. Seal can also enforce and is specifically targeted for Midtown.
