New Milford has definitely done their part to resolve this issue. However, Oradell remains completely remiss in their inactivity of resolving the pothole-ridden stretch of road - where Main Street stretches to Kinderkamack Road. New Milford repaved the road from River just up to the old waterworks building (the border). Oradell seems to be sitting on their hands relying on citizens assuming that the mysterious work at Van Buskirk Island County Park will someday fix this need. Not to mention the Elm Street bridge. The municipality delaying in hopes of the projects financing and budget is a sorer excuse for delaying this desperate need. Transparency on this issue is long overdue. Why so mysterious in general about what's actually happening at Van Buskirk Island County Park? If Oradell (and New Milford) have no idea what's actually going to happen, then report that! Putting up banners containing data that can easily be found online simply does not suffice. The community should know what's to become of their area.

Meanwhile a big BOOO! to Oradell for doing nothing to their portion of the road up to Kinderkamack. Yes, it's Van Buskirk. Yes, it's being taken over by the park commission. Somebody needs to do something now.

I honestly think this issue really ties directly into other issues for that same immediate area (like the flooding, zoning, and historic site). They are all somewhat connected.

Absolutely absurd.
