"Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition" Then
why is the City of Oakland replacing perfectly functional handicap dropped curbs (curb ramps) with new dropped curbs? These replacement curb ramps cost $5,000 plus each.
As it is the duty of the City Auditor to evaluate if the City is effectively and efficiently spending taxpayer dollars, This question was asked of Ms.Brenda D. Roberts - City Auditor, October 2018 still waiting for a response.
