There is currently a bus from Clifton Park to Global Foundries CDTA #409. All that is need is to extend an existing bus route from here to Clifton Park.

Get a job closer to home til you can afford to buy a car. Then you can pursue a better job. You have to start somewhere.

Why not just extend CDTA #82 bus route four times a day to Clifton Park to allow connections to CDTA #409 route? Runs at 6AM Noon 5PM & 9PM would be all that would be needed.

With the GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Plant now hiring and gas over $4 this route is needed now

GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Plant is opening soon is there any plan to start a bus? We only need one that goes a few times a day to the northway exit 9 to connect with the Saratoga/clifton park bus.

CDTA is ending the #409 Saratoga-Clifton Park the lack of riders is do no link to the Troy/Watervliet area. CDTA should extend one of the existing Cohoes routes to have enough riders

The plant is now open why no bus

They should have a few Northway Express bus do a pick up in Watervliet/Troy and stop at GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Plant

CDTA has been contacted their Northway express buses currently RUN EMPTY in the direction and times that these buses would be needed to take people GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Plant in Malta or the malls on Rte 9 & Rte 146 . All the empty buses would need to do is exit I787 in Watervliet to pick up passengers but for some reason no action has yet been taken.

CDTA spokeswoman Margo Janack was quoted as saying "Our proposed BusPlus River Corridor line (Route 32), part of our long-term 40 miles of Bus Rapid Transit plan, would connect this area with limited stop service to a number of employment opportunities across the Capital Region," “The first step is a demonstrated, consistent need from the community to support additional choices”
So if other words you want bus service to Global Foundries or the malls on routes 9 and 146; You must email Chairman David Stackrow at davids@cdta.org and Carm Basile CEO at carmb@cdta.org and tell them you want the new bus route!

Will CDTA ever provide service from Troy/Watervliet to GLOBAL FOUNDRIES Plant in Malta and malls in Clifton Park?

When will they start letting these empty CDTA Northway Express buses on return trips(North AM, South PM) pick people up from the Troy/Watervliet area and drop them off at the Malta Saratoga Technology Park or the Clifton Park malls. Nothing has been done
