I specifically documented this missing manhole cover is accessible from the sidewalk. The hole is approx 30-40 feet from the street of Bellaire. Between the 10515 Bellaire property and the County park. This is NOT behind a gated community. This is a danger to the public and needs to be corrected.

How many times do I have to state this is NOT behind a closed gated community. It is located on the south side of Bellaire. ANYONE can walk up to this deep hole from the street or sidewalk. The wooden fence in the picture is the east property line for a business strip center located at 10515 Bellaire Blvd. and NOT a “Gated Community”. The “Barrier” over the hole is marked PWE, so, Public Works has already been to this location.
