I live across the street so I just walked by to check it out. I could easily walk along the sidewalk past the hedge, so it appears that the issue must have been dealt with as the sidewalk is no longer blocked.

Despite Chris's comment, this situation has definitely not been solved. Just as the picture shows, the bushes go completely across the sidewalk along a tangent. You cannot get a wheelchair down this sidewalk.

Definitely does not look handicap accessible. Or safe for anyone to walk over, really. Not at night. You have to squeeze by whoever may be coming the other way and at night, especially, it is hard to see what is waiting on the other side. How the city didn't notice this without help is hard to imagine. This took a good while to get to that point. And still not taken care of?

Still not taken care of. It's been about a year probably.
