Description
The speed limit from 13th to Cesar Chavez on South Van Ness is 25 MPH. 90% or more of the vehicles travel above the speed limit, but although informed, the SFPD & the SFMTA do nothing to solve the problem. Mission residents are at significant risk.

I agree with C. The main cross-town traffic streets in The Mission are Guerrero, S. Van Ness, and Potrero. They should be kept as timed express streets for auto traffic. I ride my bike on most errands, so I appreciate the Valencia St. coridor for cyclists.
We have to be realistic because you can't eliminate cars altogether no matter how bad they are for pedestrians. You've got to leave some way for cars to get around with ease, or they will crowd other streets and make life even MORE miserable for the rest of us.
