Mr. Pullen,
I reported 2 of these vehicles on SeeClickFix (along with others) back on Nov. 30, 2018. You can see these here as proof that they have been here longer than 60 days**: seeclickfix.com/issues/5163810 AND seeclickfix.com/issues/5163818 ADDITIONALLY there is a Harley-Davidson motorcycle owned by same person and parked on that same block of First St (between Howard & Greenwich Aves), likewise registered in Vermont: VT motorcycle marker plate # KK273. (The motorcycle often is covered with a tarp, but parked on the street.) In fact, the owner of these 3 vehicles, who resides at 80 First St (first floor) has lived there for over 3 years! Traffic & Parking says this is not their purview to investigate registration violations. Police have not responded.
While I realize that your department does not have the staff to pursue all such violations, the evidence I have presented here should be sufficient to address two of these violations immediately--and ultimately the motorcycle, as well.
As a taxpayer who is weary of paying higher taxes because of tax scofflaws, it is my hope that you will put all 3 of these vehicles on the New Haven tax roll ASAP.
Thank you!
Christopher Schaefer [**CT law requires that vehicles be registered in CT after owner is CT resident for 60 days]
