aside from 2 strips of filler on the sidewalks nothing else has been done. Has anyone looked at it.

We do not have immediate plans to resurface it. You are seeing the seal coat/chip rock flaking off. The subsurface and asphalt life is still structurally sound and not that low on our pavement management index list. I will continue to monitor it. Sorry for any inconvenience but appreciate your understanding.
