They have never done anything, and tbey will never do anything. They don't care about things like this. Don't expect any action from the city. I have lived here for 15 years, and have ample evidence that the city will never address an issue like this. Drive up Mansfield when there is a hockey game and you will see.

I’m nearly finished with caring about this city.

Okay, perhaps “nearly finished” was a bit dramatic. But I am *deeply* frustrated by the city’s indifference to this mass-scale illegal parking. It’s both a quality of life issue (inconvenient for those who live here) and a public safety issue (a fire engine — a big one like a quint or ladder truck — could not get through here, much less setup to fight a fire if one of the homes across the street were on fire). The “no parking any time” signs are here for a reason. If your home were on fire and your family needed rescuing, you’d be pretty upset if NHFD couldn’t get to them quickly because a bunch of people felt their right not to be inconvenienced was more important than your family’s welfare.

This is an election year, you know who to not vote for. If you want action you must take action. Have you spoken to the fire Chief about this issue ? This is a major public safety concern. You have to get this on someone's radar.

Parking should be ashamed of this response. Clearly they did not investigate during the event, if they looked at all, or they would have seen the out of control situation. What a cynical response, to wait until a situation ends and then say we don't see a problem. Shame.

This seems to be their modus operindi all too often. I have been following this response or lack thereof for a long while. This is not an isolated incident.

Well, we are not alone. The voters have spoken.

Hopefully this will mean that there will be an attitude readjustment through out the city and they will concentrate on the basics of keeping this city maintained and safe,
