Roads Supervisor assigned this issue to Town Engineer

The Paving Contractor has been made aware of this issue, and will be dispatching personnel as early as today (August 12) to check all manholes within the project limits.

This issue was resolved for a brief period but has now returned. Can someone reach out to me with a timeline for a permanent fix?

The Town was also made aware of this re-occurring issue from another neighbor, and we have once again contacted the Contractor and requested that they implement a long-term remedy to this situation, which we expect to occur shortly.

HELP!! Can we please get an update on timing of the permanent fix for this issue? As you know, Rahway Ave is one of the main roads in town that has cars driving over this manhole cover ALL DAY AND NIGHT. The loud banging every time a car passes over it is an extreme nuisance and unnerving to say the least. Can you prioritize this issue as soon as you can?? If the long term fix can’t be implemented, can the DPW please fix it? It’s driving us crazy!

I contacted the Contractor and requested their immediate response to rectify this matter. In the short term, I will coordinate with DPW to install a temporary fix.
