Please get your facts straight. First, the complaint got submitted by me after they, TW notified me of this posting. I didn't specify TW as the complainant. Second I call the inspector directly, not the main switchboard. Third and most important to your post, CLIP will not release information on a complaint, if there was one made or who called the complaint in as it's against their policy. IF you are going to LIE, at least make it believable.

Checkingeveryone, we don't know who you are, but all reports made regarding this address were made. We suggest you call the 15th district and ask for the Narcotics unit. Apparently you are another person who complains and blames, but never gets involved. Or are you one of the knuckleheads that told the drug dealers that they were being watched? Our suggestion is to keep your mouth shut and call 911 and ask to file a report on site since you already know this.

From what we were told, once a report is made, it takes a while depending on the amount of complaints in the system. Apparently the only thing you know is to complain...

Wow, organization two in fact bashing the general public & calling names. Well I took some more liberty and researched complaints with in your neighborhood range that we're blogged and on various threads such as Facebook, here at See Click Fix and (defunct) EveryBlock. what I found was unusual community site, is the moderator deleted many postings pertaining to question(s) and opinion(s). Usually because they were upset because their complaints weren't answered. What a way to run associations. I also walked Tacony and visited some of the properties in question (most issues were not addressed). Some post were blogged over a year ago, same complaints. The properties in question are still blighted, the people around these properties are still frustrated. Still instead of your organizations being as professional as can be, you slander or delete. Lastly, people who blog on site, do call police and the proper sources. Therefore, are involved! Pat yourselves on the back and give yourselves another banquet!

Checkingeveryone, you need to check your facts. When you refer to deleted comments you need to really stop insulting yourself. No one deleted your comments. We are very aware of the issues on that block and are doing our best to take care of it, while folks like you who dont even live in the community use social networking to complain. Why dont you tell us who you really are? We have a clue who you are and your posts are very comical. Why don't you put your energy and get involved in the community instead of using sites like this as a complaining session. As far as the issues on that block. It will be addressed. Maybe not in your time frame, but it will. Here is a tip call the 15th and ask for the community relations officer Krause. She will address your issues if you even live in our community.

Simply thank you! We are also in contact with Ms. Krause who is responsive and is a good leader in direction. Comical may be. As far as you knowing who we are, this I doubt. My energies are distributed equally with in the causes I believe in! So lets keep chugging on........

We don't need to. This organization will keep doing what it has always done, make a difference in the community. Volunteering is what we do best. Maybe you should follow our advice and do the same.

Checking.... the only one that seems to be bashing and name calling is you. You state you had the time to check all the face book pages that deal with Tacony, went back a year on this site, and went through all the blogs on Every Block??? And walked through the neighborhood checking on the complaints to make sure they were fixed??? WOW.

You said complaints and opinions get deleted. With the exception of FB pages, when was anything deleted on ClickFix or EveryBlock? And I would like to know how you went through blogs on Everyblock. That site is down and the only thing you can see is their farewell post.

You seem to post both I and We. Are you single person or a group? I'm betting a single person. Did you do something that brought the eyes of TW to your home? Is that why you seem to have such a problem with the organization?

Maybe you should do something more productive with your time, like oh I don't know.... Get A Job!

tacony bright, we know who you are.... And no, there are many of us who have had it with some of you who continue to not get involved but complain on these sites. We are gonna leave it at that and continue to patrol the community . as far as a job, many of us do... and volunteer in the community...

Please this particular circumstance was taken out of context. Reset and lets get back to work. Was this issue called in. It has been over a week since it has been reported and everything remains the same. I have no complaints against either organization, both are extremely useful in own ways and have done wonders in the revitalization in our areas. I see the changes. Rome wasn't built in a day. At issue here is < 30 properties in our community with extreme problems. In time naturally it will play out. Yes, I also get frustrated of time lapses. However, in general things are improving. Checking: You did make an appearance on my block but never mentioned any of the concerns you wrote in this forum. Mayfair Tacony you are right. And we apologize to anyone if we offended you. Tensions are high and we understand. This is what we suggest. We have a constant line with all agencies in the police department. Please email us at askaway@tactw.org specifically we need to know what is going on again. Last year someone near that house told them that police were watching them, causing them to go underground for a while. Folks need to keep their mouths shut when investigations are going on. We are getting numerous houses busted, but it is daunting the amount of houses that are dealing and selling. We need specific information. We know about desiree and her antics on the avenue. She will be dealt with. The dealing we were told has quieted down. I ask again, to email us not post what is going on to protect everyone. times of the day, descriptions etc, everything you got that is recent. Lets work together darn it, not fight with each other. We are mad as well what is going on and want to help, but we need your help....

You can manipulate yourselves all you want. I called CLIP Holmesburg office and as of yesterday evening no complaint had been received, and only several in with in the network neighborhoods.

For your information, the complaint was. It was put into the system. You can say whatever it is you want to say. But we know we did it. As far as other issues with that address, please email us the issues at hand.

Checkingoneveryone, I don't know why you insist on making these baseless accusations. I personally called CLIP about the weeds last week. FYI, when a call is made to CLIP, either the main office number or the inspector directly, they first inspect the property. If a violation is noted the property owner is notified by mail and is given 10 - 14 days to rectify the situation. Then a second inspection is made. If it is still in violation, a second letter is issued and a fine may be levied. The owner is again given more time to fix the problem. After the third inspection if the issue is not resolved, CLIP can send a crew to do the work and charge the property owner.
Regarding this particular house, the hedge is very high and could be considered unsightly. However, as a hedge is a "cultivated plant" CLIP will NOT demand the owner cut such a "plant". So basically, if a complaint was made on a monday and you "drive or walk" by the property the following monday and don't see anything done yet, don' just assume the call was not really made. Understand the process takes time to complete. And just because You don't like the way a property looks doesn't mean it rises to a level for CLIP to take action.
I don't know who you spoke with at the CLIP office, but it is against policy to just give out information on any property, if a call was made, OR who called in the complaint.
