Description
A bright white LED street light fixture has recently been added outside our home. This blinding white light glares into our home and we can no longer sleep normally because these LED lights disrupt the human circadian rhythm. When I open the front door it shines into the house and when I walk out onto my front porch it hits me straight in my eyes. The AMA states: All LED lighting should be properly shielded to minimize glare and detrimental human and environmental effects.
At the very least shielding would be helpful, but I am asking that you remove this particular fixture because it is so bright it lights up the entire area like daylight. There are other fixtures close by that cover this area, and we do not need this massive amount of light pollution, including glare, light trespass and skyglow.

We want to thank whoever came by and tried to modify the light but unfortunately it didn't help us. What we need is some kind of shade that will hang down and keep the light from coming in our direction and keep it in the street where it belongs. As it is, the light fans out in all directions and lights up the area many feet behind the actual fixture (which is our property) with the same intensity as the street! You need to block the light from coming our direction and the shade needs to hang down long enough to do that, as our house is not only behind, but also below the actual light fixture. I hope that makes sense.
If you are unable to effectively block this light pollution from impacting our property and our home, you will need to remove this fixture due to poor placement. Thank you.
