Unfortunately, this segment of NW 190th Ave is not maintained by Alachua County. The County maintains the segment between NW 202nd St and NW 188th St. Please contact the City of High Springs Public Works Department at 386-454-2134 for further assistance.

This is incorrect. Across the street is city limits. We are unincorporated Alachua county. Please check your records again. We have had previous service requests managed by the county.

Please know that there are property's that are within unincorporated Alachua County because of the tax parcel, not the roadway. An example of this would be homes along a private roadway within Alachua County.
However, we do apologize for any confusion, but the system in which we create work orders as well as the hand atlas that we use to further verify road ownership, the segment of NW 190th Ave provided in the request runs from NW 202nd St to US Hwy 441. This segment shows not to be included in our roadway maintenance. However, there are times that there are agreements with the County and other cities that will allow for the department to maintain roadways that are not owned by the County. This issue will be forwarded to the Right of Way Specialist to confirm whether this segment of NW 190th Ave is also included in the County's maintenance jurisdiction. Once confirmation is received, an update will be provided on this thread. Thank you for your patience and for ensuring that this issue be resolved appropriately.

Thank you for looking further into this. Please note Alachua County Public Works filled our driveway when it was washing out, not City of High Springs, and please look at the specifics of the easement documents regarding the culvert.

Per information provided by the Right of Way Specialist and other maintenance supervisors within the Public Works Department, it was confirmed that this segment of NW 190th Avenue is not maintained by Alachua County Public Works. There was just an update, that came in a few moments after the previous comment. The County does have a drainage easement and arrangements are being made to fix the issue that is occurring. Thank you so much for being persistent in correcting this mistake in such a kind manner.
