Dang No plans to help alleviate traffic at 5 points? That’s mind blowing

I’m not the OP but I do remember someone else was told the city had plans and was working with the GDOT. I really hope the city has some kind of plan because traffic cannot continue the way it does at 5 points. It’s only going to get worse

They used to have a plan I have the drawing of two trafic circles and the purchase of the five points shopping area for a new libary and confrence center slash auditorium . I have not heard any more about it . I think it is a broken promis.

Sounds like a broken promise. I just don’t understand the city says “there are no plans for this project” traffic in this area has been an issue for many many years and if we don’t act now it’s only going to get worse. I’m sorry but between the traffic and how the schools are zoned. Valdosta will start to loose citizens in the upcoming years.
