Description
I was recently issued a parking citation for parking on W. North Street for parking in a front of a fire hydrant. While I understand it's illegal to park in front of a hydrant, this newly installed hydrant is hardly visible from the curb (see attached). It's most definitely not visible when there is any walking traffic. Cars are consistently parked in this area and many downtown visitors will get citations until the curb is marked in red – which would also help people understand how far away they need to be from the hydrant.
